Coming off a disappointing 1-nil loss to West Ham United, Tottenham know that another loss could severely hurt their chances of claiming a Premier League title.

Three points above third-placed Arsenal, yet three points below league leaders Leicester City, Tottenham are the closest they have ever been to claiming a Premier League title.

The Spurs will have history on their side, having lost just one of seven derby games played at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane will be the man to watch for Tottenham, the young superstar has scored three goals in just two appearances against the Gunners.

Coming off three-straight losses, and without a win in four games, Arsenal seem to be throwing away the chance to win the Premier League title.

Joel Campbell put the Gunners ahead early against Swansea City in their last fixture, but Arsene Wenger’s men just couldn’t hold on as they went 2-1 at home.

Another loss for the Gunners would put Tottenham six points ahead on the table, yet a win could see them leapfrog the Spurs into second-place, and edge closer to Leicester City.

Olivier Giroud, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will all need to step up for Arsenal, the three are considered some of the best footballers in the world, however in recent weeks they were nowhere to be seen.

The last derby took place at the Emirates Stadium in November last year. Harry Kane put the Spurs ahead in the first half before Kieran Gibbs got one back for Arsenal in the second, forcing both sides to share the spoils in a 1-all draw.

There is plenty to play for in this derby, and it should be close no matter which way it goes.

Prediction
Tottenham Hotspur 0 – 1 Arsenal

The past 5mins have been end to end. Amazing football. Great chances on both sides of the pitch. Son Heung Min has come on for Spurs in an attacking move. Flaimini has come on for Arsenal, a more defensive move if you ask me.

Watching this in England, and yep, weather is as it looks. Great game though. How'd you recover after Friday's game AZ?

This game should be 10 v 10 now . Dyer blatantly pulls Giround's shirt but referee Oliver decides to only award a foul instead of a second yellow. After 80mins it's 2-2. The second half has been absolutely breathless

WHAT A GOAL!! HARRY KANE THE MASKED ONE! WHAT A GOAL. From the edge of the box on the far side at a ridiculous angle, Kane whips it around Ospina and hits the top right corner. You could have lined up 3 Arsenal keepers and they weren't stopping that. Kane is a superstar!!

Harry Kane shoots from 5 yards out and right at Ospina who is inside his goal. He blocks the ball and the chances goes begging. The technology kicks into gear and shows that the ball was 99% over the line with just 1mm holding back Tottenham's equaliser. Incredible use of the technology.

Coquelin off! Arsenal down to 10. Coquelin dives into a fairly unnecessary challenge. Earns a second yellow and that could be the end of the season for Arsenal if Tottenham are to capitalise on this

Half time Tottenham 0 Arsenal 1 After dominating for nearly the entire half, Tottenham find themselves trailing at half time thanks to a brilliant goal from Ramsey. But if Tottenham continue this quality, then there's a very good chance they'll equalise early in the second half

Times they are'a changin Now it's all Arsenal. Welbeck with a free header in the box but can't get much on it. The travelling contingent in full voice as well. But Tottenham have more than enough fire power to get back that goal.

Goal!! Arsenal!! Ramsey!! Wonderful goal. Welbeck with great work to get into a dangerous position then a perfect pass to Bellerin who was out in the open who might have been going for goal but found Ramsey instead who scores, believe it or not, from one of those flicks I was so critical of just moments ago. They look pretty nice when they come off!

After 33mins play it's 0-0 Tottenham have been comfortably the stronger team. But have nothing to show for it. If it stays this way, Arsenal will have a whiff. But Tottenham look more desperate on and off the ball.

Coquelin goes to ground and grabs the ball like a quarterback trying to recover a fumble. Unsurprisingly gets booked for his efforts. It's all one way traffic so far this half but the Spurs have nothing to show for it. For much of the first half it was Arsenal trying some ludicrous flicks and back heels. Now Tottenham seem to have caught the bug as well. It's not working for either.
