Reigning premiers Hawthorn have summoned flag-winning duo Josh Gibson and Brad Hill for Friday night’s AFL game against Adelaide.

The pair replace dropped rookies Daniel Howe and Angus Litherland, while the Crows have summoned Charlie Cameron for Wayne Milera (thigh) for the MCG fixture.

Gold Coast made five changes, including losing Dion Prestia, for their clash with the Kangaroos, while West Coast’s Brownlow medallist Matt Priddis headlines three inclusions for the Eagles’ match against Sydney at the SCG.

Priddis’ teammate Sharrad Wellingham will play his first game of the season after overcoming a knee injury, while Fraser McInness also returns in favour of dropped duo Mark Hutchings and Jackson Nelson and the suspended Scott Lycett.

The Suns lost Prestia to illness, rested Ryan Davis, omitted Tom Nicholls and Keegan Brooksby, with Steven May to serve week one of his five-game suspension.

Gold Coast included Trent McKenzie, Peter Wright, Jarrad Grant, Daniel Currie and Luke Russell to face an unchanged and unbeaten Kangaroos.

Geelong recalled veteran Corey Enright among three changes for Saturday night’s away game against Port Adelaide.

Shane Kersten and Lincoln McCarthy also earnt recalls for the Cats with Jordan Murdoch and Darcy Lang dropped and Lachie Henderson rested.

The Power dumped Brendon Ah Chee and Jared Polec in favour of Cam O’Shea and Paul Stewart.

The Western Bulldogs, hosting Brisbane on Saturday night at Etihad Stadium, were unable to include Jason Johannisen (hamstring) and Tom Boyd (shoulder), omitted Joel Hamling and rested Toby McLean, with Easton Wood and Tory Dickson among the replacements.

In Sunday selections, Richmond’s Brett Deledio and Ivan Maric were among five additions for the MCG match against Melbourne.

The Demons have named Christian Petracca for a long-awaited debut – the 2014 No.2 draft pick has recovered from a toe injury suffered while playing basketball, when coming back from a knee reconstruction.

Goalsneak Jeff Garlett and midfielder Bernie Vince strengthen the Demons, who have also named Colin Garland in an extended squad.

Collingwood dumped Jesse White for Monday’s Anzac Day match against Essendon, who lost Jayden Laverde to a shoulder complaint.

I'm sure you're right Wilson. One day, if we live so long, TV editors might actually report on the whole competition wherever we live and not just the local teams. It isn't so much to ask

For what it's worth, Sinclair and Hewitt are in with Nankervis and Towers omitted. The Eagles get Priddis back but lose Lycett. I think we will start as warm favourites but it will be a tough game

Spot on Hyena. Apparently we don't count, yet again. Being a Victorian Swans fan from the old South Melbourne days it gets quite infuriating to watch the nightly news knowing any non-negative mention of the Swans is extremely unlikely. Thank heavens for Foxtel at least giving us some coverage.
