Just Joshing

By Disco Stu / Roar Rookie

As we approach the rugby league representative season, the only thing we can all agree on is that we can rarely agree on anything.

No sooner has a team line-up been announced than the comments sections start filling up with opinions on who should have been picked, who should not, and how ignorant the relevant selection panel is.

Someone always wants more experience, more youth, more attack, more defence, more speed, more muscle, more mongrel, more loyalty, more of whatever the selectors didn’t pick.

Well, after seeing the names in the NSW squad, I want more Joshes.

We already have Dugan, Jackson, Mansour and Morris. But is that enough? Can we ever have enough Joshes?

I’ve put together my team of Joshes. I’ve had to cross state lines and national borders, but with the flimsy rules surrounding state and national teams at the moment, cut me some slack.

Sure, my interchange bench is a little shaky, but I challenge anyone to put together a better team featuring a single first name.
