The Sharks are back at the Shark Tank, after a massive win against the Jaguares in Buenos Aires, to host the struggling Western Force. Join us at The Roar for live scores and a blog at 11:05pm AEST.
The home side will be keen to replicate last week’s impressive performance scoring three tries in a 25-33 victory against the Jaguares.
Their defence and kicking game has been a key feature of their success. The men from Durban are second in the competition with tackle success.
The Sharks are boosted by the return of Springbok, Patrick Lambie, from a long injury lay-off. He will be looking to be making an impact coming from the bench.
The Western Force pushed the Lions all the way to the 80th minute, and will be looking to implement the same against the Sharks with the intention to come away with a victory this time.
The men in blue failed to score any tries against the Lions, in what seems to be the trend for the Aussie team this season.
They will have to minimise on mistakes and infringements if they want to stand a chance of winning, as they face accurate kickers such as Curwin Bosch.
Prediction
The Sharks have the home advantage and are full of confidence from last week’s performance. Curwin Bosch has been in sublime form with the boot and with ball in hand. With his strong kicking game, which will be vital in this game, the Sharks should win by 11 points.

Thugby! I wouldn't go there mate if I were you, I was around in what they called the ''bad old days of South African rugby when very few outsiders ever won in the Republic. it wasn't allowed to happen, and it rarely ever did for obvious reasons! Let's hope that any revival of South African rugby doesn't come about because of the adjudication of the game process being in question!

Robert, Having been a Hooker myself for years, (a very ordinary one) I can tell you that if a Hooker pops up as you say, he's scrumming incorrectly because he has not been bound correctly so he should have been penalised, but you'd be wasting your breath with that Ref!

Eagle Jack! Ignorant posts like that achieve nothing and just shows you as another died in the wool supporter of the two no hoper teams ie: Waratahs and the Reds, just remember, the sun rises and sets in the West also it's not peculiar or centric to Victoria, NSW, or Queensland! You should know why the Force can't perform with top rugby at the moment, but of all the five teams in Australia, the only ones that are playing proper rugby, is the Force, or didn't you notice?, ~ in saying that, uninformed people like yourself, just make it up as they go, and just as an afterthought, presuming you are an Australian, how did your team go on this weekend just gone? Let us all know mate!

Disappointing game by the Force. Forgot basic skills. The team didn't seem to show the same level of commitment as in previous weeks but given we were down to our third stringers (no disrespect intended - just cold hard fact) in many positions it was perhaps understandable. At least these guys will come away with some experience to take into next weeks game. Have you thought eagleJack, that the effect of a month of continuing disruption from the inept ARU is now taking its toll too? F U A R U

Disappointing for the Force. Would have thought with their head on the chopping block they'd actually give it a nudge. The sooner we are back to 4 teams the bettter.

This clash saw the home side walking away 37-12 victors over the Western Force, scoring 4 tries compared to 2 by the Force. The Sharks solidify their second spot in the African Conference 2. Curwin Bosch and Ryno Smith were instrumental on attack for the Sharks, creating multiple opportunities of which some were converted to points. The force were not fluent on attack, and a combination of missed tackles and poor discipline costed the men in Blue in the end. Next week, the Sharks are away against the Kings, while the Force travel to Argentina to face the Jaguares.

Can someone explain to me the rules on mauls? I thought that there were at least two occassions when I thought a maul had formed - the ball carrier, the tackler and at least another player from the attacking team but the ref said that it was a tackle so when it was collapsed by the defence no penalty was awarded.

Thanks for the blog, Vusi. Nicely done. :) The better team won but the referee inflated the score for them. Now to watch a replay of the Tahs vs Blues game and spew some more. LoL
