The official scheduled kick-off time for tonight’s match is 7:15pm AEDT, but official NRL kick-off times are a bit like the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and pre-season hype around the New Zealand Warriors – at a certain point in life, you just stop believing.

The pre-game extravaganza compared with Channel Nine’s lead-in TV coverage invariably pushes the start of the match back a few minutes, and sometimes a fair bit more than a few.

All three State of Origin matches as well as the Grand Final every year reliably have delayed kick-offs, which inevitably turns into a fun sideshow guessing game for fans of the sport.

So what’s your tip? We’ve got a poll below, toss in your predicted start time and we’ll gather up the results.

Update: 7:30pm is the leading tip from those who voted in our poll!

Since it has been announced that the kick off has been pushed back 15mins I will guess 6.30. But I am sure 9 might sneak in an extra few minutes.

7:31 is my guess; NRL is good at letting the TV companies get their moneys worth.

I'm calling 7:21pm, I wouldn't be surprised if it starts after 7:30pm though.
