Semi Radradra earns Bah-Bahs call-up

By News / Wire

Semi Radradra’s rugby union career continues to soar with the former NRL superstar being selected for the Barbarians against England.

Radradra is one of four Toulon players picked as part of the prestigious invitational side’s squad and joins Wallabies hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau and former Waratahs and Wallabies lock Sitaleki Timani to play at Twickenham next Sunday.

The 25-year-old was also recently included in the Fiji squad for the 2018 Pacific Nations Cup with coach John McKee considering the former Parramatta flyer as an option on the wing or at outside centre.

Earlier this year, Radradra committed his future to rugby union by signing a two-year deal with Bordeaux, who he link up with at the end of the Top 14 season.

He is yet to make his Fiji XV’s debut but is considered a strong chance to be a part of their team for next year’s World Cup in Japan.

Haha, firstly he had a union background and secondly he can't play for anybody else because he's already played Fiji 7's

he never had fitness issues in nrl and you cant avoid work easily as a league winger. bear in mind he's going to have the exleaguie double standard applied to him in reviews.

Wouldn't get far andante. On the hand, if he built up a head of steam, NMS might find him hard to handle. Hope to find out when Fiji next plays NZ.

He starts for Toulon - but still has the league tendencies. IMO he cost Toulon the not Heineken cup semi - by going alone and not passing to Basta ( irrespective of the rubbish reffing ). a few Fijian guys i play touch with are not sure if he can last 80 minutes of test rugger. but they are happy he committed to Fiji rather than another on residency.

they have to play Top 14 semi final. Toulon lost the 1/4 final - so both Semi and Swan are in the Ba Baas. :D
