VOTE: Help us pick The Roar's 2018 All Australian team

By The Roar / Editor

Following the conclusion of the 2018 home-and-away season the AFL has released its All Australian squad of 40, and the final 22 is set to be selected on Wednesday night.

But hey… we know the AFL selectors are going to get it wrong and pick far too many Richmond players, right? If we put our heads together here on The Roar, we can surely do better.

Today you’ve got the chance to help us pick our 2018 All Australian team. Simply select 22 players on the form below, submit it – and we’ll do the rest.

You can choose from the 40 players nominated in the AFL’s squad, and there’s also a blank write-in option if you’d like to pick a player from outside that group.

Pick your team and then be sure to check back here on The Roar on Wednesday morning for the results.

The best place to provide your feedback (and they do want it and will reply back to you) is to use the contact us form https://www.theroar.com.au/contact-us/ As you can imagine the site admins won't be able to look at every thread and comment to find the ones about the site.

This is a comment on the new design, rather than the AA team, as there's nowhere else to provide feedback (assuming feedback is desired). I don't quite get the logic of having 4 recent articles at the top, then a separate "Latest" section. Also, I don't understand why "Latest" would function as a category that is mutually exclusive from "Expert" and "Roar of the Crowd", such that articles that appear under "Latest" (or in the top 4 articles, for that matter) don't also appear under the other two. Would make more sense to expand the top four featured articles to the 7 latest articles, then get rid of the separate "Latest" category. All the articles featured at the top (as latest) could/should be repeated under the "Expert" and "Roar of the Crowd" headings, as appropriate. Yeah, I know. Just another user whining about change.
