NRL team list Tuesday live blog: Finals Week 2 – all teams named

By Scott Pryde / Expert

Eight teams have become six, with four set to put their seasons on the line this weekend. The Dragons are facing an injury crisis and Wade Graham is gone for the season, so be sure to join The Roar for all the news, team lists and analysis from 3:30pm (AEST).

The Dragons came away with a stunning upset victory over the Brisbane Broncos away from home to keep their season alive in the second elimination final, but it came at a cost.

While the majority expected a loss, they are right up against it to play South Sydney. With two days less on the turnaround, they will be without Gareth Widdop who has re-dislocated his shoulder, while Jack de Belin (ankle) and James Graham (concussion) will both be racing the clock to play, although they are expected to be named this afternoon.

Their opponents, South Sydney, got beaten by the Storm last week and will be aiming to turn that around. Greg Inglis, Adam Reynolds and Adam Crichton were all struggling with injury during last week’s clash, but are due to be named today.

The other game features Cronulla and Penrith.

The Sharks will be without Wade Graham who is also out for the season after injuring his ACL last weekend. Jesse Ramien is also due back in the centres for the men from the Shire.

At the Panthers, there are no injuries or problems to report, however, they could be boosted by the return of Wayde Egan.

The Sharks need to consider choosing their dummies very carefully especially who goes in first 40 mins. I suggest James Segeyaro should play the first 40 mins after studying how the game went last weekend against the Roosters.

Sharks need to have ramien in starting line up. Better option than Dugan in attack.

The Dragons can't be serious about playing De Belin are they Scott? We can't afford to have a guy who only gives for 20 minutes before injury takes him out of the game. I know guys played injured this time of year but he looked gone for a few weeks when he came off the other day.

The Dragons, like the Sharks, have been forced into a change. Gareth Widdop will miss the rest of the season, with Kurt Mann into the halves and Hame Sele added to the bench. It means Jacob Host has been overlooked, although he, alongside Euan Aitken, appear on the reserves list.

The Sharks have been forced into a change, with Wade Graham replaced in the second row by Scott Sorensen. The spare spot on the bench is taken by Kurt Capewell. Jesse Ramien is also on the reserves and in with a show of making his return, with Edrick Lee and Ricky Leutele likely to be battling for a spot if he is to be declared fit.
