After a putrid start, the Bulldogs look to be back on the wagon after two convincing wins. They withstood furious aggression from the Giants, before outclassing the Swans last Thursday night. In both wins, they’ve held their opponents to under 40 points.
North Melbourne, on the other hand, have gone in the other direction. After two hard-fought wins to start the season, they’ve been off their game against both the Swans and Hawks and have fallen just short despite strong fourth-quarter comebacks.
The Kangaroos won last year’s only encounter by 25 points, in what was Brad Scott’s last game as coach. Prior to that, these sides had played four consecutive games decided by fewer than ten points. The Bulldogs have won four of the previous six encounters, but North have won two of the last three.
