Luke Partington is exactly the kind of player GC should be looking at. He killed it in the WAFL at a time when the Eagles AFL side was strong, so he couldnt get a game. He didnt do anything wrong at senior level either, there just wasnt a spot for him.
He was desperately unlucky IMO. They let another South Australian go this year as well,, along with Smith who they got from the Pies, the pair of them would would walk into the GC suns first team.
What the ... Margary Medal ... What is that? I have heard of the Magarey Medal (pronounced Mag Airy) but never heard of whatever medal the announcer was talking about.
Perhaps do a bit of research so as you can at least sound like you know your topic and understand football outside of Victoria?
