Green is a thug who has form. He is a down ripe sniper who will never be considered a great of the game. He plays for a manufactured club that will never have a grassroots support base. Both Green and the Giants can get stuffed. Richmond did the football world a favor by humiliating them in the grand final.

The AFL has created this problem by setting precedents. If Greene is suspended, AFL looks silly after letting Lynch off the hook. If Greene gets off, AFL looks silly for apparently condoning gut punches. Maybe first offence - 1 week, second offence - 2 weeks, third offence - 4 weeks, etc.
