Nic Naitanui absolutely fires up after getting his hair grabbed

By The Roar / Editor

It’s a side of the Eagles’ ruckman you don’t see that often.

What thuggish behavior are you talking about for Nic? Taking great marks and doing hit-outs to team mates isn't thuggish, The only time he has suspended in his 165 games is for a tackle on Karl Amon from Port (A big man tackling a smaller man) and causing concussion. If you want to see Thuggish behaviour look at Gary Ablett Jnr and Nat Fyfe for throwing elbows and getting off completely.

I'd say it was intentional. You can see Merrett smile at 0:45 after he pulls Naitanui's hair.

Nic has a history of thuggish behavior. Needs a week to be reminded of how to behave. Yep should get a week too for the violent manner in which he threw the Bombers player to the ground in the ensuing scuffle.

But he wasnt injured. That has been the standard this year. Elbows into heads hasnt been a problem so long as there was no injury.

Nope. Was an intentional hair pull.

I don't think he intentionally pulled his hair. Hair below the neck is part of the jumper and can be legitimately tackled (remember Tom Alvin from Carlton). Natanui should be forced to tie his hair up or just accept its going to get pulled.

I would think both players will get rubbed out for a week. Pulling someone's hair is pathetic, but throwing someone into a fence with all your force is absolutely not on. Could have hit his head on the fence, been badly injured quite easily.
