Cronulla Sharks captain Paul Gallen has extended his undefeated boxing career with a dominant victory over John Hopoate on Friday night.

Gallen was widely expected to win the match against Hopoate, who came out of an eight-year retirement to take his place in the bout.
The 45-year-old Hopoate looked clearly out of his depth, and Gallen cruised a second-round knockout victory.
