His economy is 7.76, which is in the top half of bowlers for the comp (ignoring guys who have bowled less than 10 overs so far). That's decent, especially since he often bowls in the power play. He was comfortably our best bowler in the last two matches (1/26 and 2/27).
His lack of wickets up till then is a worry but who do we replace him with? We've already lost our two best bowlers, plus Archer from last season. At least Rose has made some quick runs.
Don't know how he's keeping his spot in the team. 8 games, 3 wickets at 54 and an economy of 8. Which is unsurprising considering he has just 22 wickets in 52 games at 53. He might be quirky but he done very little his whole career. There are part timers bowling better than him this BBL
