We’re well into the second week of competition at the Tokyo Olympics and Australia could be heading for a record Games after 14 gold medals already.

The men’s and women’s track cyclists start their campaign today and the Aussies will be hoping to first qualify for the Team pursuits Final with a medal then on the line if they can.

Before that, it’s the Hockeyroos in action in a massive quarter-final against India from 1:00pm AEST.

They haven’t put a foot wrong so far this tournament and have handled the intense heat in Tokyo.

We’ll be keeping an eye on that match plus another huge day and night on the athletics track.

There are also two big matches at night with the Matildas taking on Sweden in the football semi-final and the Opals desperately needing a win in the basketball.

The Opals are through to the quarterfinals after a tense 27-point win over Puerto Rico. The team needed to win by 24 points and still had plenty of work to do in the final quarter to sneak through despite two losses anf the solitary win in their pool game.
