Rugby league vs rugby union. It’s been a long running war between those that love one code over the other. Even Americans are starting to realise the difference and the petty arguments we have in this country.
Back in 80s one couldn't play both. I was union first then fell in love with league when XVs became a kick fest. League accepted me but I had to keep quiet to my union club. Loved my time with Fulham.
They already are indistinguishable. Don't really get the fuss. What's wrong with watching, enjoying and appreciating both games rather than treat them as rival forms of the same thing.

Well with the silly six to go rule now in Rugby League, the two sports will become largely indistinguishable soon enough.
