I agree with Ben and have been saying this for years. He does not get seriously taken on this because of his personal links with Wayne Bennett. Honestly, yes that's a factor, but Ikin's criticism is shared by a lot of Broncos fans. This team since 2015 thought they could build off that side at it's peak and in signing some deals let some quality players go. They took a risk on past performance equating future success.

Ikin was a nothing player with a great coach. Brisbane has great players but a nothing coach.
