in commentary (I had to watch Nine until half time) Andrew Johns said "2nd time this year Boyd has been fooled by the dummy" - referring to Brommich's try in Rd 1. Let's call it what it is. He wasn't fooled. We can't call any NRL player soft, it is a tough game. But Boyd avoids tackling like I avoid my partner when there are chores to be done and football to watch. Even in goal line defence, if he is near the ruck and needs to be on the line, you will see him push team mates to the side of the ruck where the attacking forwards are lining up and he will take the other side....
