Former Sea Eagles coach, Geoff Toovey, is the latest candidate for the Gold Coast Titans’ head coach job. Speaking on Fox Sports’ Controversy Corner, Toovey attempted to remain coy on the matter but his enthusiasm for the job quickly shone through.
It comes after Gold Coast Titans chairman Dennis Watt spoke about the shocking results on field which led to the decision to axe Garth Brennan.

Nah Tooves is a legend and the sort of coach they need. he would be perfect for the Titans. Plus I reckon he might drag a few rusted on Manley types to a few games. I reckon they are a team with huge support here on the Coast.
