What really annoys me is when the defender is penalised for shoving them into touch or into goal. If you are just lying there then you should be fair game!
Cotter threw 4 passes like that . 2 got pinged. Just dumb , but all nines are throwing them, ( esp you Mr Smith and you Misters Friend and Cook. )
It is an outrageous advantage to let a short forward pass stand. The defensive team has no chance on their own line.
The Storm and Roosters will get at least one try in the finals from a forward pass when they are just a few metres out.
Its hard enough defending a NAS or a JWH without having to contend with a forward pass as well. If a short pass looks suss it is forward . Call it.
