Puppy,
Here's a thought for your team - stop taking dives. This ain't Soccer.
While Jurbo's bin may be warrented by the letter of the law, Gagai's obvious dive was against the spirit of the law. As was Cook's cynical play for a crusher against DCE. Which was dissapointing as he and Murray are my favourite Bunnys.
One thing you won't see from the Tri-Colours is dives as Uncle Nick hates this nonsense.
Des Hasler is a tactical genius! Firstly, he repurposed the term "Voldemort" (i.e. "he who cannot be mentioned") to get around the ban on criticising referees. Not only were the NRL unable to stop him he also made Greenberg and the whole situation a laughing stock.
He then makes a joke about the asbestos scandal at Brookvale oval to defuse the criticism and down play the negative angle making it a rallying point for the insular peninsula to get behind and galvanising them into action; "Let's show em'". And sure enough they came.
Now he orchestrates a rant in a place where he KNOWS the cameras and the broadcasters will have their attention focused in order to dramatise his anger and frustration and make his point without leaving himself vulnerable to censure from the NRL. Brilliant! Pure genius!
That's because teams like the Roosters, the Storm and Manly like to push the referee's patience and give away cynical defensive penalties to reset their defensive line and take away an attacking advantage.
Here's a thought, STOP giving away cynical penalties and pushing the envelope on "gamesmanship".
Souths get more piggy back penalties out of their quarter/half than any other side in the comp.
They get up really, really slowly to play the ball while glaring at the ref to try and give the impression they've been impeded/interfered at the ruck. Easts fans have know this for years. It was there for all to see last night.

Des has every right to question a 9/3 penalty count, as you can see it’s exactly what he did and most fans would applaud him doing so
