To be a good coach you need to be a good selector Cheika is a horrendous selector.

Yeah, defence would seem like a decent place to start. Nic bishop made a comment earlier in the week that, and paraphrasing here, with regards to our defensive organisation he can see what we trying to do but he's sceptical about the plan to begin with. It feels to me like Cheika / Grey has had a good chance to make what ever it is we are doing work but we still shipping a shed load of points 3 years on. Imo they should be kind to us and kind to themselves by reverting to something abit more conventional. If that means we have to forego an attacker or two, then Shirley it's time to make that decision.

After losing all championship matches,if lucky win 1 match nothing will change ,its obvious that having a bad RWC 2019 has been accepted already. I remain positive because if looking at 1999 team 1. Harry 2.Foley 3.Blades 4.eales 5.Giffen 6.Cockbain 7.Wilsen 8.Kefu 9.Gregan 10.Larkam 11.Roff 12.horan 13.Herbert 14.Tune 15.Burke Cheika has got enough talent too put together a team on paper that can match 1999,if not better and it starts with great defenders ,whether in Australia Europe or Japan by picking players that can match the team of 1999 its a proven success model The wallaby team currently only matches the 1999 team at 1/2 and 3 the rest they are way behind The locks well you never will match it because of eales but a combination close too their abilities, we have Rodda a good player but his best rugby will come 2023,Coleman and it has too be Simmons ,unless Philip and Jones come into team immediately too gain valuable experience. 6/7 and 8 ,Cockbain is in the prime of his career in 1999,Tui is 21 like rodda their best will come 2023,so instead of Tui another 6 with lineout skills with experience it has too be Fardy or Higgs,Pocock 7 ,So who has the athletic ball carrying abilities of Kefu only McMahon. So as the forwards go with changes,we match front row of 1999,win the 6/7 and 8 battle, but lose at 4/5 but only because of eales So onto the backs can we match their defensive ability and attack Gregan, larkam, horan and Herbert seems immposible but actually we can and here is how. Herbert might not have made line breaks but his defence was terrific,I can't remember him ever missing a tackle Horan great as well and could attack line and a 12 with ball playing abilities because he played at 10 a few times, unfortunately there is only 2 that comes close AAC at 13 as good a defender as Herbert and Godwin similar skill set too Horan a great defender and playmaking skills, gregan relied on quick ball ,Genia can get that as well with better cleanout from Mcmahon Higgs, fardy,Pocock all he needs is too pick the right direction of attack something gregan was great at,If its a 9.Genia/White 10.Tomua/Barnes 12.Godwin 13.AAC I would say they level even though 1999 had gregan and larkam, because what they lack in attack they make up in defence white is a better defender than Gregan so is Barnes and tomua over larkam As for the rest just put Falou on the wing he can be our Roff.

In your own words Raelene, this year was "all about the Bledisloe". Well, the Bledisloe has come and gone. And the consequence is...nothing. If you expect your team and coach to be accountable for their performances, you need to be accountable for your words.

...but Raelene, the PLAN is getting the unacceptable RESULTS. So on that basis, we will get more of the same until after the RWC, because the results on Cheika's 3 year watch to date indicate flaws in the plan and/or the players delivering it and/or the coaching staff devising and embedding it? Outstanding and inspirational RA leadership; backing 'the unacceptable'. Well done.

The wallabies can win RWC 2019,but how is the big question. Cheika is a fantastic coach and having read opinions from experts and fans everyone seems too have similar issues with team,The lock combination, our loose forwards, playing both Pocock and Hooper ,where Falou should play and 10 ,12,13 at least one area we happy with its the props and hooker with Thor in there better than the front row of 1999 and 2003.Getting back too selections Cheika has looked at what macqueen and Jones did and guess what they probably would have had hooper and Pocock as well and a lock playing 6 in the case of Tui .Cockbain was 6 in 1999 rather than traditional 6 finegan and waugh and smith played 2003 and funny enough we fans wanted it that way then ,so what makes this team different the answer and solution is simple, the teams of 1999 and 2003 was a great defensive unit, the wallabies of now conceded more tries in 50 minutes in sydney than than 1999 team conceded in an entire world cup, some will say we should just except this is a fantastic all black team but I say if defence could stop a 1999 springbok team who was brilliant under mallet when they had come of a 17 match unbeaten run and come close too beating a england team filled with some of there best players in a century why can the all blacks of today not be beaten.
