A rejuvenated Melbourne Victory side look to continue their run of form against a Macarthur FC side desperate to stay in the top six. Follow the action with live scores on The Roar from 7:05pm (AEST).
Since installing Steve Kean as caretaker coach, Melbourne Victory’s previously rotten fortunes have reversed. The beleaguered giants have nabbed four points in their last three matches; a thrilling 5-4 win over the Wanderers, a competitive 1-0 loss to Sydney and an encouraging 1-1 draw with the Mariners. A charge to the finals is out of the picture, but they can still finish this season off on a high with more wins.
It won’t be easy against Macarthur FC, however, with the Bulls absolutely desperate for a win to keep their hold on a top six spot intact. The Bulls are in the midst of a five-game winless run – two losses and three straight draws – that has included encouraging performance’s against some of the league’s best and dispiriting performances against lowly sides. They need to turn it around tonight.
