Perhaps he was looking at a different opportunity that didn’t eventuate. He gives the impression and has the results to indicate he is a coach who will end up in Europe.

it still seems strange they didn't bring him in at the end of last season.

Well summed up with that comment.

Bit of a strange game in the end, I suppose, because it was pure chaos before the break and then quite sedate thereafter. Vuck showed a level of maturity that they have at times lacked to see the game out - it did make it a little less entertaining after HT, but that's not their problem. Anyway, thanks for reading along and keep an eye on the site for more A-League content - including a match report, soon to drop! Goodnight!

Hoping Talay does better with youth than Corica. At what point do Sydney start putting more older players - Grant, Brattan, etc on the bench and bringing these guys in? They can’t do worse!

FT And that'll do us! Vuck way too good today, so much firepower up front in Arzani, Machach and Fornaroli - and very much the opposite for Sydney FC, who couldn't score in the proverbial brothel. 3-0 it finishes.

It will be interesting to hear Talay’s comments after another scoreless loss.

90+3' Wood gets in along the right, Broxham shuts it down. The Vuck fans love it. From the corner, he heads away at the near post. They love it again. 3-0

88' Post! Kucharski rises highest to a cross but his header can only find the upright. That's the closest SFC have come. Then, Machach gets booked for something or other, while Teague is withdrawn for Leigh Broxham. 3-0

Will he ever get on the field with more than 2 minutes to play? Or will he have to leave SFC like seemingly every other good youngster?

85' This has been over since that Fornaroli goal, but SFC are still managing to stink it out. Their attack has been nonexistent since half time. 3-0

83' Machach gets Ikonomidis free, but he dallies and eventually SFC get back. Bit of a waste from the winger. 3-0

80' Monge and Adams coming on for Vuck imminently as Tony Popovic looks to waste a bit of time. 3-0
