Match preview:

Perth Glory welcome Brisbane Roar to HBF Park on Saturday evening in Round 19 of the 2018-19 A-League season. Join The Roar for live scores and coverage from 10pm (AEDT).

Having rolled Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park last weekend, Perth Glory are threatening to run away with the Premiers’ Plate.

With the finishing post almost in sight, Tony Popovic will call for full steam ahead to get the job done.

However, following their own audacious victory over Sydney FC last weekend, Brisbane will be quietly confident that they can be the ones to derail the Perth Express.

Dylan Wenzel-Halls’ late winner against the Sky Blues handed Darren Davies his first triumph as interim boss. How his stock would rise should his Brisbane team take all the points here.

It will be tough though. Perth are unbeaten in nine matches and the Roar are missing a host of key players. Most notably striker Adam Taggart who has been sold to a South Korean club.

Prediction
The Roar can play with freedom and really take the game to Perth. It may end badly, but it will be fun to watch. The reverse fixture ended 2-4 in Glory’s favour. I predict a similar scoreline tonight.

Perth Glory 4 – 1 Brisbane Roar

79' Is there a late consolation goal in this Brisbane team? They haven't folded like a cheap deckchair and deserve credit for that. The away side have fought hard and perhaps deserve to sneak a goal. Perth Glory 4 – 0 Brisbane Roar

74' Superb effort from Wenzel-Halls from distance. He spotted Reddy off his line and went for a David Beckham. It wasn't too far away from the young forward.

71' Neville slips into the back three for Glory. Wenzel-Halls is still working hard up top for the Roar, but he's not had much service tonight. Perth Glory 4 – 0 Brisbane Roar

68' Neville has played well since coming on early in the match. It just shows the strength in depth in this Glory squad this season. Brisbane Roar are currently in the opposite position with injuries piling up.

61′ Andy Keogh became the first Perth player to reach 50 Hyundai A-League goals a few weeks ago. He’s on a hat-trick tonight so he won’t want to get hooked by the manager just yet.

59' Too easy for Perth to get in down the wings at the moment because the Roar full backs are not tracking back. This could get silly if Brisbane don'tstart doing the basics correctly. Perth Glory 4 - 0 Brisbane Roar

It's 41 days until Glory's next home game after tonight. So, Popa's side are giving the fans a late Valentines pressie before they go on their travels.
