The Glory’s winless run now sits at six – indeed, they’ve taken all three points just once since February. As a result, they now sit tenth on the A-League ladder, 12 points behind the sixth-placed Wanderers. A loss today would almost certainly be the death knell for their season.
For the first time in a long while, the Victory find themselves facing a side which just might be going worse than they are. It has been a dismal season for the A-League powerhouse, winning just four games to sit second-last. However, there have been signs of life under caretaker coach Steve Kean, with a win, a draw and a plucky 2-1 loss to Macarthur FC their haul under his watch so far.
A second win in charge is far from out of the question, though the trip west to Perth remains a daunting task.

Unbelievable to see a 10 man Victory control the game like that in the 2nd half. Perth are a good side but they just seem to become lazy and slack off way to much. Is it the coach>? Or some players like a certain some1 that was benched tonight.
