Patston, on the other hand, has made allegations, none of which have yet proven false. She has stated that her phone was returned to the ARU in August as part of a routine upgrade. Patston made a much more serious allegation against Beale, but then declined to corroborate it by providing her phone to be checked, and declined to attend the hearing. Then, she gave a very lengthy interview to the Australian which entirely avoided that issue, but made numerous other allegations about people she didn't like. Yet again, none of this can be checked or verified. She is giving the impression that she likes to make very serious allegations about others, but ONLY when the facts cannot be checked, and that she will not do anything to enable facts to be checked.

A serious allegation was made by Patston, which was demonstrably false in one particular, and which cannot be proved in any respect because she refused to allow it to be checked or investigated.
