If such a code is "4" times bigger,then they would need to average at least 60,000 per game per season,earn 4 times the revenue, 4 times the membership,4 times the participation,4 times the Tv contract.Quite obviously anyone with an ounce of grey matter, knows that is, let us say "pulling the other one". Since leaving the NRL sept 2014 he has had approx 2-3 mins actual game time and this is unlikely to change for the remainder of the season. I'm still struggling to understand why he's doing this? What an obvious waist of his talent and time. Stop flogging a dead horse and return home.

Whats a matter crossgen ? I coach a Marist under 11 RL team , played for Mt Albert in 90's , season warrior ticket holder for 20 years , been to the 9's and going next year. But Im not an NRL lover , its an insecure sport worried about its image and less about RL. BTW AFL is 4 x bigger and better than NRL and is slowly turning QLD and NSW into aerial ping pong states. I would mention Melbourne but there in the QLD cup , the cowboys ex QLD , Titans slowly nut surely sinking. BTW my old fav Norths might bet a breath of Life BTW 90000!! G

Your love of rugby league is plainly obvious (hic) And the NRL is all the better for Burgess's return. NFL dwarfs most sports,however it is not played globally in the true sense of the word. He is determined to stick it out.That means IMO either he gets an NFL gig after a decent long term effort or he will come back to Parramatta knowing he has given it his best shot,with his head held high. Good on him , unlike the quitter Burgess he finally understands that the NRLis a peanut amongst global sports. He's been de activated and rw activated , this boy ain't coming back to NRL and he's NO QUITTER!!

His position is clear while there is still a chance he might play before season end, however, you'll find not even his pride can keep him from home and the NRL.

Good on Hayne for sticking it out. He has suffered his 1st major set back but he's prepared to stay with it & fight for his spot instead of chucking it all in because it was too hard.
