WATCH: Messi scores a double as Barcelona cruise past Arsenal

By Roar TV / Roar Guru

Lionel Messi scored two goals in 12-minutes to give Barcelona a huge advantage going into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

The game was deadlocked at 0-0 until the 71st minute when Arsenal had no answers to a fast break from Barcelona.

The big three all had a hand in the goal, with Luis Suarez streaking down the left before passing to Neymar who found an unmarked Messi in the centre for an easy goal by his standards.

Arsenal’s hopes of any comeback in front of their home supporters was quashed when Mathieu Flamini took down Messi in the penalty box. Messi made no mistake giving his Spanish team the 2-0 away win.

"In your spare time, I highly recommend you read the classic tale of a lad called: Pinocchio." That's pretty rich coming from the guy who allegedly has a law degree, yet as shown a significant lack of understanding of correct civil law process on this very forum. For a guy who doesn't read any of my comments, you comment a lot on them. I'm actually slightly concerned you are mentally ill and perhaps might try to find me in RL. You need to stop with the stalking Fuss. Anyone reading your above comments to me will realise they are completely inappropriate and out of left-field. It's really creepy! If you don't understand how a VPN works then great, just ask me to explain it. If you don't believe my credentials...fine, but you're the one who keeps bringing them up, not me. I'm not going to report this. I've had you suspended before due to your comments, so I'm going to give you a gentle warning once again. I would like you to stop commenting on my posts. I have no issue if you want to challenge my comments when it comes to anything medical that is factually incorrect, or put me in my place if I say inappropriate comments. I expect every poster to do the same thing, as it's not up to the mods, but us to police this site as best we can. Thank you.

I see you're taking interest in me yet again Fuzz. I'll humour you with your questions though. "Goodness a 90 minute lunch break?" One of the perks of having your own business I guess. It also allows me the flexibility to study medicine, a field I'm already 40 percent proficient in - not a difficult concept to grasp. "And you’re allegedly studying 2nd Year Medicine." Clinical placements for me don't start until early March. Most university students aren't back into the full-swing of things until late February anyway. The life of a uni student I guess having 4-months off. You should know this if indeed you went to university. "PS: Just out of interest; where did you watch the match this afternoon? Do you subscribe to BeIN Sports?" Here you go: https://sport.bt.com/football/champions-league/live-arsenal-v-barcelona-101364041052579 Log in if you like. Oh...you will of course need an account (which my father-in-law has) in the UK. You will also need to use a VPN service to change your IP address to one in the UK. Not very hard, I'm sure you will figure it out. Any other questions champ?

Just finished watching this game in my lunch break. Too good Barca - my misses is not going to be happy this evening though... Mind you, I think this helps Arsenal in their quest for the Premiership if they get knocked out, which inevitably they will.

The counter leading to the first goal is some of the best football you'll ever see. The speed, precision and execution is perfect.
