The Roar AFL Podcast: Round 1

By The Roar / Editor

The Roar AFL Podcast is officially in full swing after Round 1 with Cam Rose and Jay Croucher giving us their view on all the big stories coming out of the first week of season 2016.

Round 1 saw some upsets, some shockers, some close games and some thumpings – and a lot of goals kicked, too.

Just how bad were Collingwood in their loss to Sydney?

Why couldn’t GWS maintain their lead over Melbourne?

Are Carlton really a bottom two side?

And how many times can Cam say “intensity” in a single podcast?

These are just some of the mysteries the Cam and Jay explore in this week’s podcast.

Join us again next week and every Wednesday going forward for the next edition of The Roar AFL Podcast.

Really liked the podcast guys, well done and thank you! Good format and wrap up of the first round. Looking forward to catching this after every round. Question from a Hawks fan; I didn't get to watch the game, but in Q3 was it a case of the Hawks fighting back or did the Cats just taking their foot off the gas i.e. decrease intensity (that's for you Cam)

We're getting there boss. If you can't laugh at Jay's Woody Allen homage, you need to reassess your will to live I reckon.
