Match preview:

This game sees the Jaguares host the Kings from Estadio Jose Amalfitan in Buenos Aires. Join The Roar from 7:40am (AEST) for all the live scores and commentary on the action.

This is the first home game for Jaguares in seven rounds. This is also the first of two matches scheduled for the two neophytes. The visiting Kings’ main advantage stems from continuity, as they will field the same combination of players. Conversely, the Jaguares have made no less than twelve changes for this match.

While the Jaguares were on the negative side of the results ledger early in the season, the score difference was five or less. However, in the last three games, the total loss margin has been 47 points. The travel has taken its toll.

For the Kings, The average losing score difference has been consistently almost 30 points. The exception was a five-point win at home against the Sunwolves.

The scrum for both teams has not been great, while both teams have terrific lineout exponents in Guido Petti Pagadizaval and John-Charles Astle.

Defence though has been the main problem of the Kings, who allows an average 40 points scored against them. In two matches, almost 60 points were let through each game.

There is a chance the Jaguares coach Raul Perez will rue his endless changes, and let in a lot of points. This game should be closer than it should have been. But this one is for the Argentineans to lose, who should triumph by at least a try – their first win since Round 1.

True, and I would have hated to see the demolition of the Sunwolves had they played in BA after three gruelling games in NZ. Jaguares are a genuinely class side - probably could do with better tactical coaching though. Sunwolves without ring-ins will be average for years. For this to be a competition of genuine class all major countries should have at most four teams. Start a second division for the next 12. As it stands the luck of the draw has far too much impact on finals and ultimately the grand final.

@ DaniE : I thought from day one that KINGS are the rubbish , BUT , they have scored more points than the Force and have scored only 22 points less than than the Sharks !!! only issue fro them is , Kings have leaked 384 points in 8 matches . comparatively the Chefs have scored 329 in 9 !!! so it seems Kings attack is no worse than the Sharks , but their defence is non-existent :D

And again, a hopeless laughable joke. Not only is SA rugby in a farcical state with political/quota interference now in the stratoshpere, but yet again we get another game that hands points differential and bonus points out unfairly. I just hope neither any side that tops its table, nor any kiwi sides, suffer the injustice of playing an away final or not making finals on point diffs or bonus points or whatever because of this ridiculous 2016 Super rugby format. I'm all in for Arg joining SANZAR - they are genuine add value - but Sunwolves and Kings aren't even in the same universe as the rest of the comp. SANZAR better be working hard on fixing this fiasco or they lose me even more next year than they have this year - and I'm not that far from their target audience.

Wow!!! 73 points is insane! I know the Sunwolves copped 90 odd, but all the same... Must have been a fun arvo for the Argy crowd.

The match didn't air in Uruguay, Chile or Colombia. ESPN was too busy with European football rerurns and SportsCenter.
