Thanks for the information, it was really useful to know this stuff (even with a few errors). Some of our o/s players are on upwards trajectories, some have suprised with stagnation. Could you please put in your next player update, what they generally eat for breakfast each day? You would need to to check their breakfast menu daily. Cheers

Not taking it that seriously, mate. I guess we just have a different opinion of 'all due respect' and 'constructive criticism' compared to plain criticism. Although I learnt from what you said, I word things differently. Have a good one mate.

No idea why everyone is taking it so seriously, was merely making a kind suggestion that if you are going to be submitting something, make sure you check the facts properly.

Thanks for your constructive criticism Kaks. I do see where you're coming from. Like I said, in other comments if you read them because I'm just repeating myself now, I write articles in my spare time, what little I have left of it, just to give viewers a quick read. This was a brief indication of where Aussies are. I may have mistaken 1 or 2, but as you can see there are a fair few players I've included, it was bound to happen when my sources were the internet. What other sources do I have? I thank you, however disagree that you should have brought my Journalism degree into it. I really do know what you mean, I don't want to be that journalism. I should take time to get it right, hey you're not wrong! However may be word your comment a little less harsh next time and tread lightly with what sort of seems to me like questioning the degree I study. I know it you're not implying anything, but it was just a unnecessary thing to say. Cheers mate.

Thank you Mister Football, it was a genuine attempt. Like I said, a hobby. I gave readers pretty much what they need to know besides maybe 1 or 2 players re-signed, or went or load or whatever. That's correct, I provided an indication of where Socceroos are. Kaks makes a good point, I should only post correct info, however bringing in the degree I'm studying may be taking one step too far. Thanks mate.

Kaks I think you are being a bit too harsh. He made a genuine attempt, and for the most part, provides a good indication of where some socceroos and budding socceroos are at in their careers. I didn't see the article wanting to anything more than that, and it pretty much succeeds in doing that.

With all due respect Sam, maybe it's best to research your articles a little more before posting them. If you are studying journalism then that's great. If you dont have time to research and write articles then maybe take a step back and write/post less articles per day to ensure that they are high quality and factually correct. I'm sure you dont want to be a journalist who doesnt know what he is talking about and posts incorrect facts, so take your time on them and make sure you get it right.

Thanks for the comment madmonk! As said, mistakes are evident in this piece. My sources were used on various web links and other than that, that's all my knowledge of those particular Australians abroad. Therefore, I don't know. I couldn't spend a lot of time researching. Cheers for picking up the mistakes.

Hi Freycinet1803, thanks for the comment! Some mistakes are clearly evident, and yes, the internet was my source for all this information. May I remind you this is a hobby, ontop of University and a job I come home and write as a passion of mine and don't spend 1-2 hours a day researching overseas Socceroos and there whereabouts. So thank you for pointing out the mistakes, It was appreciated. As for your defenders comments, of course defenders rarely score but I wrote it up anyway as I did for each player. It's not necessary but it's there. Apologises if it's a large problem for you and affects your life in any way shape or form. Cheers for your comments and pointing out what is incorrect. I used various web sources as references to give people a BRIEF idea of Aussies abroad. Don't stress too much about it mate. Cheers.

Also in regards to Leckie the appearances and goals are a bit misleading, as this is the first season he has played in the Bundesliga. His team Inglostadt were a Bundesliga 2 team before this season. This season in the Bundesliga he played in 32 games and scored 3 goals (not really a great return from a winger .. although he did manage a few assists, and his stamina and speed were highly valued by commentators and critics throughout the season).

I think someone has simply used Wikipedia and the current squad list. Brad Smith has been at Liverpool all this season, making appearances in FA Cup ties and the EPL. He even got on the score sheet in the FA Cup. He was on loan at Swindon last season (before going off contract with Liverpool and then was given another contract with Liverpool after trialing for Rosenborg I believe). Also I think it is a bit silly in the write up of defenders to say how many goals they got. For example, not a very good review of Sainsbury (who started the season with PEC Zwolle in Netherlands before a January move to the CSL). It would be better to include comments about his performances in the CSL and ACL than how many goals he has scored. Also in regards to Mat Ryan you shouldn't rely solely on Wikipedia (at least not the summary box). He has made only 8 La Liga appearances, but made 7 appearances in the Copa del Ray and 6 appearances across the Champions League and Europa League this season for Valencia.

Robbie Kruse was recalled by Bayer Leverkusen from Stuttgart a few months ago and has made a number of appearances for Bayer both starting and off the bench. Might want to re-read your Brad Smith paragraph.
