Sauaso Sue signs with Canterbury Bulldogs

By Scott Bailey / Wire

Canterbury have signed reliable Wests Tigers prop Sauaso Sue on a two-year NRL deal.

The 26-year-old will link with the Bulldogs for next season, after having played 113 games for the Tigers since his debut in 2013.

Experienced in both the front and back row, Sue has played 10 Tests for Samoa and is the Bulldogs’ biggest signing under the rebuild of coach Dean Pay.

“Signing someone of Jesse’s (Sue) experience and consistency is great for our club as he will add to the depth of our forward pack and be someone who can play a number of positions,” chief executive Andrew Hill said.

“This is another piece of our new look squad for next season and I am glad that we have been able to land someone of Jesse’s calibre.”

Maybe we bought him in order to move Tolman on,who's on fairly good coin. That would free up some more cash to go after a centre or winger?

Yeah Baz, the good old Johnny Cash and 'A Boy Named Sue' from the late 60's which is something that the Dogs cant spend much off after their cap disaster lol

Sue’s a good player but I tend to agree - with limited cash is this a priority signing? Anyway, welcome to the club...look forward to seeing you in the blue and white next year. “Well my daddy left home when I was three And he didn't leave much for my ma and me Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze” Life ain’t easy for a boy named Sue...

Because the Dogs don't have enough forwards already..... No wonder we can't sign anyone decent especially for the backs.
