NRL Round 15 teams: Big ins for Roosters, Broncos dump Croft

By The Roar / Editor

The NRL Round 15 teams have been revealed.

Wests Tigers will be sweating ahead of their date with the Sydney Roosters after the Chooks today named Brett Morris, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Kyle Flanagan in their list of inclusions for Saturday night’s clash.

They have, however, lost Luke Keary to a ribs injury, with Drew Hutchison the new halves partner.

The Tigers, for their part, are unchanged – although Alex Twal has been named in the reserves.

Over at Brisbane, Anthony Milford will make his return from a hamstring injury in a move that sees Brodie Croft sent to the reserves.

I think it's shown a glaring lack of front office quality that the roosters and raiders are battling for 4th whilst missing a full rep squad between them.

So the Broncs have lost their top 3 front rowers in Lodge, Haas and Flegler. Plus their first choice hooker who’d only been back a couple of weeks. Milford back might not be a positive. Kahu has been out a long time. Nui Isaako Bird Coates Oates ... ... Lodge Turpin Haas Flegler ... ... That’s a fair team of injuries.

I wasn't impressed with Dragons a couple of weeks ago when they got pasted by a Rooster's reserve grade who barely got past second gear. Will be equally unimpressed with Tigers if they don't win. Couldn't find Roosters more vulnerable and they need to points. Don't and be happy with 11th place in 2021 pussycats, it only gets harder.

Yeah, can't see the value in deflating Meaney when Hopoate hasn't played for a while. Meaney was playing well.

No Jessie Bromich for the Storm. That injury list is as bad as the Roosters. I really don't like the look of Sandor Earl up against Maika Sivo. Hopefully Hughes makes it onto the park as this is looking very ominous with the Eels smarting from last weeks loss.

I can see all 4 Qld teams getting up this weekend. We’re moving into the pointy end and that’s when the Queenslanders come home strong. Milford will bring some steel to the defensive structures with Issac Luke. Cowboys have been doing goal kicking practice all week and have the Knights measure. Knights best players are Cowboys rejects. Titan got robbed last weekend. Proctor was framed and they’ll be out for revenge. Storm are the champions that just love knocking over the fancy pants teams. It’s a new moon phase. I,I, Yippee, yippee, I X4.

Hopoate a big in for the Dogs but thought Meaney was doing quite well at fullback over the last few weeks and was worth persisting with. Hopoate is a very good centre and playing him there would mean no Kerrod Holland which is a huge positive.
