Where will Harry Kane fit perfectly?

The transfer window is already appearing promising.

It looks like some major transfers will happen and maybe that is what we all hope for. Everyone wants their teams to add to their ranks but wouldn’t wish to lose their key players in the market.

Far from it, Tottenham will have to brace themselves with the latest development surrounding the club as the transfer window hasn’t started how they would have wished.

The writing was on the wall a long time ago and every Spurs fan should have begun to think about it. What will happen without winning trophies? Can our largely talented set of players be kept?

The team showed how ambitious they are. They kept their players and still pushed to win titles. Although you might praise the ambition of this team, the titles may not be forthcoming after losing another final to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

Spurs fans are dejected but what is finally ripping them apart is the announcement of their main man wanting to leave the club this season.

Harry Kane has announced his intention to leave north London at the end of the campaign following another season without a trophy.

Who could blame the Englishman? He has been a loyal and faithful servant to the club, and performed at the highest level for the team, but the titles are not forthcoming. Harry Kane hasn’t held back on his hankering to win a title.

Perhaps Kyle Walker and Christian Eriksen leaving Spurs and becoming champions could have fuelled that desire in him.

He deserves a trophy to show for his value. Can he bank on Spurs to win him those titles he desires? No.

Where could be his best bet for a title next? The likes of Manchester United and Manchester City are potential destinations. Chelsea, Real Madrid or PSG are also potential places he could head.

1. Manchester United
Harry Kane would be a good fit for Manchester United given the fact that he remains in England and stays in one of the biggest teams in the country.

There’s no hiding that he also sets his eyes on Alan Shearer’s all-time goal tally in the league and a move away from England won’t help him realise that dream.

United have been in search of a number nine and given Edinson Cavani’s age, he would not be a regular player for the side. Whether United can give Kane a major title such as a Champions League or Premier League soon is another discussion.

2. Manchester City
City are another potential suitor for Kane’s services. He will welcome the opportunity of playing under Pep Guardiola.

City also hold a higher percentage chance of winning a title soon. But how does Kane fit in perfectly? Will he get all the praise he receives at Tottenham or England?

3. Chelsea
This looks like the arduous deal among all others. Maybe only a move to Arsenal is more difficult than this. A move to another local rival is out of the question. Sorry, Chelsea fans, no Kane for you.

4. Real Madrid or PSG
The only reason this deal might not be on the cards is Harry Kane’s unwillingness to leave England, probably due to Alan Shearer’s record in sight.

It won’t be the first time Spurs have been in a position to lose their key players. Dimitar Berbatov, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale have all left the north Londoners and Daniel Levy might still save the moment as we wait for the unfolding of probably the biggest transfer saga of the window.
