Keep it up Apl and when you fold, I will be laughing my head off. This is a wonderful journey.

The A-League's 'family-friendly' kick-off times are keeping fans away

APL’s safety first mantra, nursing clubs through every season with no pro/rel and that salary cap will always keep the football competition shackled and in about fourth or fifth position in the pecking order of major sports. The APL and NST must work together in going forward, not separately.

Apathy and incentives: Without high-level stakes and drama, the A-League will always be lacking

The worst centre in the game is Starford. The worst positioned fullback is Doueihi and the worst performed halfback currently is Brooks. The most ignorant coaching staff, for not being skilled enough to identify any of these frailties in the NRL, are Sheens, Marshall and Farah.
Tigers are at the foot of the table.
Anyone seriously got any comments contrary to any of this?

ANALYSIS: The Tigers are a rabble, Doueihi is not a fullback and the Broncos are a serious threat

It is plainly evident that the FA and APL will constantly be fought against, right up until the new changes get implemented, both for the A League and the new and exciting NST. Till then, positive visionaries like myself will always come across negative killjoys of different types with different narratives. Best thing FA/APL can do at this point is to write the naysayers off and think of them ONLY when they go to the toilet, as I do.

Have the APL made the right call with the next stage of expansion?

I know that the reality is often dismissed for the fantasy in life, and football is front and centre in that narrative. Let me again make it clear, fans don’t care about the journey, I could be included in that every so often. Unless the football/soccer code is representing itself in the right framework, I don’t want to go watch it in its mediocrity. The FA/APL are hopefully now finally going in the right direction with expansion, the NST, transfer fees etc, but that is not here this season or last so, these seasons have been written off by me and for others it seems. Truth hurts but it may drag them into leading the code in the right direction. Lets see next season with only NST, no expansion yet though.

Can the Western Sydney Wanderers help salvage this trainwreck of an A-League season?

As long as the supporters association is from Sydney then its ok..ole ole!

$550k in fines to Victory. Not so victorious hey..

Who is going to treat the supporters group seriously and even pretend to give them a voice, the APL?

Dont see how Johnson escapes criticism. The oversee-er.

Does the A-League now just favour teams in Sydney and Melbourne?

You telling me Townsend did not Resign yet? Follow DiPietro!

Auckland have a filthy rich backer as well. APL must hate expansion. Do they realise how much they can make through expansion? Doesn’t look like it.

The case for Canberra's A-League inclusion

The MacArthur region has a plethora of brand new, large housing estates with wealthy families moving in and leasing out to tenants as well. Junior sports is huge. Plenty of money to watch Macarthur. Just need to convince them to also follow them, as well as following Marconi and Sydney Utd, see easy.

Canberra will be bankrolled by a Saudi entity. ‘Whats you talk’n bout Willis?’

Its laughable that you are this ignorant of any true facts. If Victory struggle to stay afloat, 777 Partners will increase they’re shares, up to 70%. Jets to announce new owners late January.

Nope, not going to spend hard earnt when an anti climax often occurs like what happened in the Bulls vs Sydney match. It’s VAR or crowd. Choose.

The A-Leagues need to focus on football, not more VAR decisions

Obviously Craig is going in to bat for his mate’s son. Played with Robert finch, a letter for Brett. What a surprise.

Dragons boss falls on his sword: Young resigns due to fallout from Finch support letter

I have a tip, if there is no parking, or it costs $25. NO Chance in hell I’m going to watch a match live at the venue. I watch my pennies alittle closer.

Build it and they won’t come: Why Sydney doesn’t deserve more stadiums

CLUBS OPTED TO ANNOY THE APL TO POSTPONE THEIR MATCHES DUE TO COVID AND INJURIES. THE SEASON CANNOT RUN FOR NINE MONTHS. WON’T BE ANY TIME FOR PRE-SEASON FOR THE FOLLOWING SEASON. GLORY GET STUFFED.

Glory coach blasts A-League Men fixturing as injury toll grows

Who’s to say that the ‘Disruptor’ is not just Window Dressing? Unless Transfer fees and a Second Division come in, and an intent on expansion in the very near future after that, then Window Dressing it is by weak entities namely FA/APL.

Arnie in! Graham Arnold to continue on as head coach of the Socceroos

What fans? The whole season didn’t get a chance to build momentum. They chose POSTPONEMENTS over fans. Play U18’s, I don’t give a stuff, the show must go on. You POSTPONE one match, I don’t go to three matches. This is how I vote with my feet. Same mantra for next season. I can just watch Celtic and Liverpool play matches.

Eleven teams remain in the race for the A-League finals, but where are the fans?

No they are not necessary, APL are scrapping the stupid idea, as per twitter article.

In-game commercials are the necessary evil the A-League can't live without

Johnson, Townsend and co need a couple more seasons to drive the code into the crowd. I’ve decided to boycott the soccer untill there is a second tier comp, transfer fees and expansion which leads to 30 matches per season, premiership matches alone, besides Australia Cup matches.
I figured if I know what is right for soccer, the board must know what is right, so implement it!
Plenty other options.

'Fading into obscurity': What's wrong with the A-League Men?

Don’t Anyone talk about short turnarounds!! Look at the SPFL three matches a week all season.
The poor dears of the A League.

We all want the A-League season completed, but the current scheduling is farcical

Those that run the ALeagues Homosapians, are running it to the ground. No marketing, scheduling is embarrassing and Postponements. FA/Apl can’t look at Frank Lowy straight in the face as business entities, even though the de-cuppling of FA and Apl was the right move for progress.

We all want the A-League season completed, but the current scheduling is farcical

Don’t care if you have to get 14 players in, for any given A League team experiencing covid 22, from various pub teams. Do Not Postpone Matches.
WIth active support its great for atmosphere no doubt, although, those flares will be hard to get used to once its back again. Build back better?

With crowd numbers trending down, can the APL turn it around?
