The NRL Round 15 teams have been revealed, with almost all players who missed last week due to Origin now back in the fold.
The notable exclusion to the list is Gold Coast’s AJ Brimson, who’s been named among the reserves as he nurses a knee complaint. The Titans do regain the services of Moeaki Fotuaika, David Fifita and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, however.

Perhaps... However, it’s a far different thing to lose a player here & there to injury. To replace them gradually over weeks. Then to replace 5-8 players all at once , in one or two games. They actually got better second time around. If Kikau’s try awarded against Cronulla , as many experts said it should have been. Penrith win that game. Take the best 8 out of most teams all at once & they aren’t going to be winning too much.

Yeah, with their famous production line of young players, I was surprised at how easily the Panthers got rolled with their stars missing. I know you can't draw too many conclusions from these Origin stuffed games but their depth does look surprisingly thin. If the Panthers had anything like the injury toll of some other clubs this season, they could have been much further down the ladder.

They have lost Cordner, Collins, Morris, Friend, Keary - all forever or the season. They are all SOO quality players. But they keep turning up… I’m not sure that if Panthers had had the same injuries, whether they would be sitting in 5th… The roosters middles all have big engines so if they get on top it could be a boil over. But then again…..

I was with you until your comment about the Roosters running for the Premiership. Whilst they can beat anyone on their day and will give the Panthers a good shake this week, they have very little depth and can easily be thrown off course with injuries/penalties. I also think they have lost some great players lately that they are going to miss. The Roosters will make the finals and could produce a nice upset win against the Panthers but they won't win the premiership.

Going to be interesting to see if the Panthers will just return to normal now that their Origin guys are back. If they do then I expect them to win this fairly comfortably. Verrils and Taukeiaho are big ins for the Roosters though. Marschke tries hard but he is no where near the player Verrils is. Taukeiaho was missed last week as well. I'm pretty sure he's been carrying a rib injury for a while now so you'd think he'd be close to 100% now that he's had two weeks off. JWH needs some support as he surely can't keep churning out these 80 min performances.

Panthers v Roosters is going to be a cracker! Roosters look like they're getting players back for this one and Panthers Origin players are back. I think this will be a good measure of where the Roosters are and I'm surprised they're at $3.60 with the team they're rolling out this week! I actually think they're a big chance of an upset here with Kikau missing for the Panthers as well. I also think they are still one of the teams in the running for the Premiership and this game will see how close or far off they are with the Panthers A team being so dominant this year.

South’s forwards better bring their A game. Their backs are seriously outgunned this week.
