Yep. It feels like a bunch of amateurs are at the helm at Souths. Is it possible that the problems at Souths are more than just a coaching issue? Certainly starting to look like it.

'It's a big fat no from me': Mal would pick Roos if made to choose as 'red flags' raised on any Souths deal

Yep – if that had been Radley or Solomona they’d have gone to the bin or even sent off. The inconsistency is beyond frustrating now!

Latrell cops lengthy ban for high elbow hit on Johnson as Souths coach laments 'stupid' acts

Robbo always knew Latrell was only a centre – that is why he let him go and used the money to top up Joey Manu’s contract. History has shown us that Robbo was correct.

Latrell's not walking the walk after talking the talk: Souths should be worried after star goes missing against Roosters

Thanks for the article Dan. Very funny!

The Liebke Report Card: 'Full credit to Bazball for teaching Warner how to score quickly in Test cricket'

Mmm if it had been Radley breaking Brimsons jaw I wonder if you would be so sanguin about it…

It’s a close season this year and the Dragons are only 4 points out of the bottom the eight. If they can turn it around then the season is not over – but that’s a big “if” under Griffin. They have signaled they are moving him on in any case so I think the only short term solution is to punt him now and give Wolfe a crack.

Griffin hits new low with latest loss - and you know what comes next as Dragons reach untenable point

Agree Dean. The Roosters lost some good players such as TKO and Verrills and the only notable new signing is Smith. I’d argue that the roster has gone backwards. They finished in the bottom of the top 8 and then bowed out in first week of the playoffs last year; it’s hard to see it being any better this year.

Demetriou was disingenuous in the press conference. To claim Burgess should be fined and then carrying on about JWH was a pretty pathetic effort. Typical coach deflecting blame again.

Rise in foul play a result of feather touch judiciary: Head slams can only be eradicated with lengthy bans

Gee got red and green goggles on there Chris. I agree with the head slam being a cheap shot and he deservedly got three weeks but…. what nothing to look at in Burgess shot on Tedesco Chris? Spare me. The MRC gave him 2 weeks so they disagreed with you. That shot was designed to hurt Teddy but hey let’s throw all the stones at JWH.

Rise in foul play a result of feather touch judiciary: Head slams can only be eradicated with lengthy bans

At least Robbo was honest in the Press Conference. Demetriou basically said that Souths player offences were only worthy of fines, despite Burgess taking Tedesco out – a really pathetic one sided disingenuous response.

Matth – agree. With -31 F&A they don’t deserve to be in the semis. Just saying…

Round 23 Preview Questions: Storm stuffed up Munster deal? Rabbits real deal? Broncos making up numbers?

Joe – love the optimism re the Roosters – lots of Great Joes on the roster as well! I think the Storm in Melbourne will be the hardest one but where there is hope….

MICHAEL HAGAN: Three teams can make run at title even if they finish outside top four

Lord Ted. A theoretical debate if Latrell had been there but… South’s do not use their back 3 like other teams (like the Roosters or Eels) where the wingers will do a lot of work bringing the ball out of their own end; South’s typically use the forwards for this & Penrith played to this strategy. Latrell would have made no difference. I do agree though that Melbourne are a threat and the Roosters, if they get there – a big “if” given the draw that the Raiders have (and they would be fodder in week one of playoffs)…

Experts Roar: Who is Panthers' biggest threat - Storm, Sharks, Roosters, Cowboys, Rabbitohs, Eels?

Joe – they will go deep into Finals if they get the 8th spot. But that’s the risk. They will need to win against either Storm or Bunnies to be guaranteed a start in semis. The Raiders have a much easier draw and with a negative F&A don’t deserve to be there but as they say it’s not over until it’s over..

Experts Roar: Who is Panthers' biggest threat - Storm, Sharks, Roosters, Cowboys, Rabbitohs, Eels?

If the eight stays as is, it will be a cracker of a Finals Series. It’s possible that a side in the bottom of the eight to be there on GF day, particularly if the Bunnies and Chooks keep rumbling on. The next couple of months are going to be an entertaining!

NRL Round 22 talking points: The cream is rising, but can it reach Penrith at the top?

I think the Cows struggled on and off the field this week. The chooks did play very well and rolled down the middle pretty easily but I think the Cows had every right to have an off day. They will bounce back. I think the real issue from that game was the fact that the chooks only played for 60 minutes – at this time of the year that is a real worry.

NRL Round 22 talking points: The cream is rising, but can it reach Penrith at the top?

Ummmm….. BMoz went to Roosters because they had the coin and because he wasn’t dumb. He won another premiership ring and was one of the best on ground in the 2019 GF. Only a saints fan would be bitter about that..

The ones who got away: St George Illawarra Dragons

4 weeks. Panthers will have both halves available for semis and both rested after a tough season. Penrith are now in the box seat to go back to back.

'Filthy with myself': Cleary apologises as MAMMOTH ban handed down for horror tackle

Ha ha. It was a disgrace and an outrage. I mean he ran through 4 players before he put the kick on. Saints were a disgrace and if I was a fan ( which thankfully, I am not) I would be outraged…

ACL tears hobble Roosters duo as Manu masterclass in Dragons demolition snaps losing streak

Ken, you used felonious, indulgent, felonious and absolutions in one (very long) sentence. Now that’s verbose….

Dumbo – love your work. Very smart actually. ????

NRL NEWS: Kaufusi not guilty verdict divides opinion, Williams exits Raiders, Kumuls keen for de Belin

Ken – I think it’s a queue you refer to. And there is a long queue for very good reasons – systemic cheating of the salary cap to start with; Running two sets of books no less and then being defensive and marching out as if they’d done nothing wrong. Then add the wrestle, the prowler, the cannon ball, the crusher. That is the Storms contribution and legacy to the NRL. When I think of the great coach, Jack Gibson, I think of a great and positive legacy. A funny fact about Jack was that Saints were the only team (I think) to sack him but that’s a conversation for another day but ironic…

Geoff sadly the Chooks and Raiders will be battling it out for 8th place in the finals. I don’ think the Panthers are trembling in their boots about either of them…

NRL Round 13 talking points: Absolutely no one likes split rounds

I agree Nat but that’s an expensive right centre. Although when Mitchell returns to Souths at left centre then there will be two…

NRL Round 6 talking points: Gaps are appearing - so who's a write-off and who's repairable?
