THROWBACK: Player gets dropped in SANFL Grand Final and somehow gets up

By The Roar / Editor

Nathon Irvin played one game for the Sydney Swans in 1993 but it was in the SANFL where he played most of his footy.

Irvin played for Sturt against Port Adelaide in the 1998 Grand Final and copped a nasty blow in the second quarter. Despite suffering concussion and a broken jaw he continued to play on. Port went on to win the game by 9 points.
