HIGHLIGHTS: The moment Justis Huni finally ended Paul Gallen's brave undefeated run

By The Roar / Editor

39-year-old Paul Gallen has always looked to fight the best and he had his biggest challenge yet taking on 22-year-old Justis Huni.

It was billed as a State of Origin of boxing and Huni was looking to restore pride for Queensland after the rugby league version didn’t go to plan.

Gallen wore body shot after body shot, but he somehow took it to the final round where Huni was able to finally wear down his opponent.

Sorry, this does not help boxing as a sport which is already challenged. There are younger more natural boxers who could use the money and opportunity Gallen is taking. Yea Gallen is tough, but had he fought 3 minute rounds he would have been very badly hurt…

Never been Gallen’s biggest fan but we haven’t produced many athletes tougher than him. Nothing but respect for him after tonight.
