The scary thing is both Grant and Walker are in key positions for Qld. For at least the next 10 years.
Yet I bet NSW will start favorites every year. Just like the last 40.

50-point curse knocks Rabbitohs' premiership hopes for six

2 things Robbo has introduced:
1. The Roosters Way
2. Next Man Up

Excuses doesn’t exist in Robbo’s dictionary. Who ever wears the RWB is expected to get the job done.

The Sydney Roosters: NRL terminators

Brett Morris is a champion.

Shattered for him if he has to go out this way.

Same with Friend.

No fairytales in Rugby League or life.

Scans confirm the worst for Brett Morris

I would absolutely loathe Easts to relocate. But even this is preferable to a merger.

A simple plan for NRL expansion

Indeed.

The salary cap burglars

John,

I still refer to Uncle Nick as Uncle Nick.

The salary cap burglars

It’s a secret…
Just between Beat…I mean Tony and me.
😁

The salary cap burglars

It’s the Roosters Way, John.

The salary cap burglars

Congrats Beathy,
You’ve written an article which has ‘Salary Cap’ in the title and not a word about Easts or an Easts player.
This is as rare as Roosters teeth on the Roar.
Good stuff.

Grant was the difference.

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

Mushi
You are on fire mate!
Go Easts.

Latrell Mitchell and Cody Walker need to clean up their games

Barring injuries, I can’t see who’ll beat them.
Storm and maybe Souths. But that’s about it. Their defence is stingy as a Scot (unwoke?) and they have so much strike power and confidence in attack.

The Penrith Panthers will win the 2021 NRL premiership

Agree with Ben, Harry.
Wingers are probably the easiest transition. Fullbacks are probably next but RU FB kicks more. Loose forwards too.

BTW, if you are looking to get into the code, like all sports, you need to support a team. Can I suggest the mighty Roosters? They represent the working class, unassuming, salt of the earth battlers of Sydney. It’s all about promoting our local juniors, spirit and soul at this club – unlike our neighbouring club in red and green who have Hollywood luminaries and media mogul sons as their benefactors. They have no soul, no juniors and are always trying to buy a comp.
Their players even wear Armani suits and drink lattes. And that’s at training.

Is that a sly dig Haribaldi?

And waistline…

But the same argument can be made R & Ms then, because there are always at least 3 or 4 in them. Used to be 7 or 8 in the old days.

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

Haha. Very good!

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

Fair point but I was talking more about pushing and ripping the ball out, which I do know some half backs do. Specifically bigger ones like Farr Jones.

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

Sure, but in Perenaras case how many R & Ms does he get involved in?

Add that to the number of tackles he makes in a union game and if it adds to 40 or 50, maybe a comparable figure?

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

Well I was playing in the Masters comp upto a few years ago so that would put me ahead of an AB I’m sure.

Will polish the white boots Changa gave me after the GF in case Robbo calls.

TJ Perenara: Why he will make it in the NRL - and why he won't

We were down to our 5th choice hooker against the Storm on Friday night after retirement/injuries to Friend, Verrills, Lussick and Marschke. And he was actually a journeyman utility.

Easts are so desperate for a hooker atm that Robbo was considering the SG Ball hooker.

So we’d probably welcome Perenara.

TMO/video ref should be used for try adjudication only. And if the on field ref has said try, that’s it.
Them sticking their big noses into general play is an abomination. What’s the ref and touchies there for?
Unfortunately this is starting to creep into League as well.
A pox on this. (And the deliberate knock down rule while we’re at it).

The Wrap: Rugby’s devil is in the detail

Michael Hancock would have been suspended every week.

Latrell Mitchell in trouble as Tigers left fuming

Please, please, please…
NO MORE VIDEO INTERFERENCE!!!
Keep it to tries adjudication only, not general play.

Latrell Mitchell in trouble as Tigers left fuming

Lol…
Love it.
