It actually sounded like bat on ball, but I wonder, did he squeeze the ball into the pitch. Obviously, the view on a lap top screen is different to the umpire’s view. Assuming it was an umpiring mistake, it galls me the multitude of such perceived mistakes, inaccuracies and blunders here on the roar aren’t counter balanced by the occasional brilliant decision. I am sure the umpires at shield level get at least 90% of their decisions correct, which in most settings is a pretty good percentage. Not such a good percentage if talking about a pilot successfully landing a plane safely over a long career obviously.
