I’m not a fan of current players sitting in media roles. Cooper, retire, get you nose fixed THEN give media a go. Same goes for Gallen. Hardly a good promotion for the game.

Centre is a tough position to play these days and it's a bold team selected by Fittler. Whighton was the player who worried me when Manly played the Raiders and it was well founded , he was a menace. I've got a feeling that the perceived weakness in the centres for NSW could end up being be the strength. Chambers , who is the specialist centre is the weakest of the four in my opinion.

Whighton got on the outside of Chambers but in fairness fatigue might have been a factor. Will Whighton make the right decisions when it matters? Playing a unfimilar position with new players either side of you in Origin is a tough gig in your first series. Wing was tutoring him before last game now Gasnier is Tutoring him this week?

It's hard to imagine NSW defence out wide getting worse than game one where QLD repeatedly made breaks down Mitchells side but couldn't finish them off. Whighton beat Chambers one on one in the first game but it seems to have been forgotten because it went pear shaped after that. It will be interesting to see if Cronks predictions come true and they can't be ignored.

Wow thanks "Scoop".Any NRL expert ,even blind Freddie would point out the bleedin obvious. Two rookie centers playing out of position ,who earned there selections from attacking prowess - of course they are gunna be targeted in defence. I guess the theory is they are gunna cause more points for the Blues than concede them.
