Look at social media. Seems that more people are fed up with the histrionics and I reckon Folau has a lot more support from most people. A lot of fans have tuned in to watch Catalans. As long as he continues to play well Catalans will do very well from the extra traffic.
Izzy Folau's media coverage is 10 times than of Sonny Bills :) and I think he gets paid 400k a year. Great bargain for the Dragons. Still not convinced SBW is worth this much...
I think the $5mil is about more than just his on-field value Aussierad. The media coverage he brings would make the club many times his salary alone...
