Reading between the lines, I think what he means is he is going to be a dictator and all factions shall answer to him. That’s what Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China did, unite the warring factions, but that’s after he conquered all of them.

Clarke promises to stamp out RA factions

He still has a point: how did the leak occur? The Board needs to go.

AOC boss Matt Carroll sad for rugby's demise

Good article mate but the best part was the video highlights of the Australian 80s backline. Mind-blowing how good the Green and Gold were then

When we were kings: Is there still room for rugby’s Quade Coopers?

Mr Parkes, I see what you have done here. Lowered our expectations last week with that cr..ppy article then blow us away with a solid piece of journalism this week. Well played.

The Wrap: No easy answers for Australian rugby

I can only speak for myself and my school mates then. For a league state union was doing well.

'Test of the Century' showed Wallabies greatness, says Mortlock

Agree with the author regarding Mark Viduka. Arguably one of the most talented footballers this generation in Australia but possibly a disaster in sports administration if his reputed work ethic is anything to go by. You lost me at Canterbury Bulldogs and Castle though – from most accounts, they weren’t too happy with her as CEO.

Bitter legends have no right to dictate their codes

back when everyone cared about rugby union, stillmissit. I was in school then, and remembered watching every single wallaby game during that era.

'Test of the Century' showed Wallabies greatness, says Mortlock

Agree with you. Perhaps Castle was hoping that being woke, she could gain favour with the public. What’s amazing though are the Roar articles and the usual suspects defending Castle, overlooking her (lack of) performance and blaming it on everything else under the sun.

Castle, conflicts of interest and chaos

John O’Neill who was possibly Rugby Australia’s greatest administrator, said “i oversaw a glorious period of on-field success, which made me look like a genius off-field”. I don’t know why the outraged mob here just can’t see that – she’s a woman, shrieked the Red Pirate. She’s not from the Sydney Eastern Rubgy Stock was the excuse by Geoff Parkes, whom I understand is considered a Sage in these parts of the internet, blah blah – could it be possibly the Wallabies just didn’t perform and Australian fans went away in droves?

Castle, conflicts of interest and chaos

“I oversaw a glorious period of on-field success, which made me look like a genius off-field” said John O’Neill, ex CEO of Rugby Australia. It’s amusing how the apologists on this site keeps spinning out the excuses – she is a woman, she is a Kiwi, she is not from Sydney Eastern rugby stock, blah blah blah. If Raelene was half as successful as John, everyone would all be hailing the Vicar of Dibley.

Australian rugby has its problems, but Raelene Castle was not one of them

Essentially being paid his old salary plus salary at new club plus playing at a beautiful part of France…I would say he is quite pleased.

The Wrap: Unravelling Australian rugby’s unholy war

This article lost any credibility attributing a successful career at the bulldogs.

Rugby's elbow-patch brigade wasn't ready for Castle

This site is full of Raelene Castle apologists. If I may summarize this long winded article: Raelene Castle did nothing wrong. Australians are immature and they like tearing others down. Oh and she didn’t come from Sydney Eastern Rugby stock was the other excuse.

The Wrap: Unravelling Australian rugby’s unholy war

Your sentiments regarding Raelene Castle possibly differ from a significant portion of the Australian public. She is not the only responsible for the sad state of affairs, but you have absolved her of any blame and instead it is “Australian politics” and the immaturity of Australians that is at the heart of all that is wrong with Australian rugby. Tearing people down is not just an Australian trait, it’s alive across the Tasman, and the only thing that keeps the wolves away is success.

Be patient my friend. God has his Own Timing. As you can see He has now Squashed the Curve in Australia so he is answering your prayers my friend. The Vicar from Dibley has to go, Nick Farr Jones will be made the next CEO, Izzy will return. All in God’s Timing.

Raelene Castle resigns as Rugby Australia CEO

So much saltiness here on this Roar forum. Enough salt to create another Dead Sea.

Raelene Castle resigns as Rugby Australia CEO

Sacked. Jobless. Shunned. Shamed and a giant fall from grace , it seems. In 2019, that was Folau. Castle went out of her way to destroy him, unsuccessfully. He’s in a beautiful part of France, getting along well with his team, with his wife, apparently expecting a baby. In 2020, she’s where he was, in a coup featuring Nick Farr-Jones, a strong Christian and supporter of Folau. Could this be God’s Will? Martyn Iles of the ACL just asked his followers to pray for Raelene, and that the Lord loves Raelene. Martyn is a good man, he says to his followers, “Don’t laugh, don’t rejoice, don’t be smug.” And just like that, millions of Christians are asking for forgiveness for laughing, rejoicing and being smug.

just a tickle…

Did this kick to the unmentionables deserve a red card?

Not sure if Messi deserves that award, as much as I love that bloke. Hamilton absolutely…

Who is looking forward to SBW vs IF?? Anyone knows how to get live streaming?

SBW proves doubters wrong in second Super League outing

Look at social media. Seems that more people are fed up with the histrionics and I reckon Folau has a lot more support from most people. A lot of fans have tuned in to watch Catalans. As long as he continues to play well Catalans will do very well from the extra traffic.

SBW proves doubters wrong in second Super League outing

Izzy Folau’s media coverage is 10 times than of Sonny Bills 🙂 and I think he gets paid 400k a year. Great bargain for the Dragons. Still not convinced SBW is worth this much…

SBW proves doubters wrong in second Super League outing

For $5 million per year, he should be making 50 tackles ….
