‘You can’t run around your own player… everyone who knows the game knows that that is not a try.’

The obstruction occurred way before then.

Watch from 0:43 onwards. Munster never even attempts to move towards Yeo, his weight is inching outwards toward the sideline. If Bromwich wants to get obstructed, he needs to step up and make contact with the decoy runner & force the issue. Just like they did to Crichton in the first half. Panthers movement had them indecisive so they never made a commitment & were therefore never instructed.

Huh? Freeze the video above at the point where Capewell runs in between Munster and Yeo (about 9s in). Muster cannot move any closer to Yeo without colliding with Capewell and that buys Yeo the fraction of the second he needs to put the kick in.

He never had a chance because Munster was about six metres away from both the decoy runner & the kicker. Only *possible* obstruction was on Bromwich (the closer defender) but he had already started to sidestep laterally towards the infield to cover the decoy runner, and, as a result, never got either obstructed or close enough to tackle kicker.

Do you watch Rugby League Double Agent? It’s been a obstruction for the last how many years.

If a defender never makes an attempt to defend then what's the problem?

Please enlighten me Double Agent how this wasn’t a obstruction... when players run around another player they fall on the ground for a reason

Munster is not even looking to make a tackle here. How can he complain when he wasn't obstructed anyway?
