Been a hopeless Knights supporter every since North Sydney Bears were kicked out of the comp. Let’s just say I have bunch of second favourite teams which are Rabbitohs, Titans and Storm ????

Ironic yes but if the Halves just gave them early ball or Teddy wasn’t doing his best Gallen impersonation and trying to build up his stats NSW most probably would of had a sweep.

Thankfully QLD got a win so I slept well.

Origin is hard, a sweep is harder: seven talking points for State of Origin 2021

If you add a fit Harry Grant at 9, Ponga and Muster at fullback the spine is nearly at full strength and will ask a lot of questions if NSW. Unfortunately for QLD DCE over plays his hand in the series when Munster was waiting for the ball especially in the attacking 20.

One major problem QLD have is they have no answer for Latrell. Unless Wighton is playing inside of him.

Without Cleary and Luai, are the NSW Blues really that good at all?

Like Cody got time to develop?

Without Cleary and Luai, are the NSW Blues really that good at all?

Blues best due to his stats?

If the blues were deadset on a clean sweep they would of picked Walker and Reynolds.

Would of been great to see him in the centre for a dead rubber.

Hammer time: Queensland make multiple changes for Game 3

Do you Honestly think those guys would have the same impact as Turbo and Mitchell had this year in the series.

Turbo was superman like in game 1 and Mitchell was sensational in game 2.

That’ll do me if you think those guys would have the same impact in origin as Turbo or Mitchell or close to.

Hammer time: Queensland make multiple changes for Game 3

I still think you can add Munster with that top tier of player with Winning the series for QLD last year and what he is doing for Storm this year. He played behind against a dominant forward pack this year in origin and a could barely touch the ball with DCE controlling the team.

Cody doesn’t get the respect he deserves and obviously has upset the wrong people. He should no doubt be the number 6 for NSW but I guess you have to be Mitchell Pearce or Clearly to find your feet in origin. Never gave Cody a proper chance.

I’m a Newcastle fan but would love nothing more for Cody to prove a lot of people wrong with a premiership this year.

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

In origin you need wingers to make last second reads and save tries. Coates hasn’t stopped one the first 2 games. I know he is quick but it hasn’t come to any use this series.

Hammer time: Queensland make multiple changes for Game 3

Who’s on the level of the backline in the first games from your second and third side?

No 7 comes close to Cleary and and no centre is in the same hemisphere as Latrell and Turbo.

I’m a massive Cody Walker fan and he should be NSW number 6. But Munster is on a level with Turbo and Latrell.

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

Munster is the best 6 in the world…

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

I don’t agree with the choice but early ball to Turbo and Mitchell is an easy enough game plan.

NSW back 5 and pack have dominated QLD but the form of Cleary and Laui has been superb.

This could be now QLDs chance if the Storm stars play. Wait probably not if the game plan doesn’t change.

Let’s go QLD!!!

Origin 3 teams: Who's in for Cleary? Fittler names his NSW line-up

Arrows not an edge forward and that showed in game 2. Put him in the middle rotation and drop or at lock. Surely you start Arrow for 30 then being on Hunt in 13 and leave the Hooker role to Grant and or Mahoney. Not knocking Arrow he gives it his all but Qld Need mobility around the edges to deal with NSW speed ans passing game.

You talk about going all in but leave DCE at 7.
Time to move on from him and give Hunt another chance who straighten ups the attack or Walker.

Gagai on the wing for his defensive reads and hard carry’s out of trouble and Corey Thompson due to being such a threat in attack.

Defensively QLD will need wingers who can make split second decisions trying to shut down NSW attack due to having so many leaks from the inside. Do QLD have any defensive centres?

Capewell in the second row would be an upgrade.

It’s time for Queensland to go all-in for Origin 3

No player in the B Side would be in the same tier of Latrell, Turbo, Teddy and Cleary.

But currently with the way DCE is playing and the coaching of Green I see your point that losing is a possibility.

A Blues B-side could beat this Maroons outfit

Tbh QLD were lucky Inglis chose to play for that state otherwise there wouldn’t be 8 in a row. Now NSW have a player in there favour who makes big plays on the big stage and helps shifts momentum. I don’t see QLD stopping NSW unless we can get a back 5 to definitively make big plays and speed to take advantage of overlaps. Let alone carry the ball like To’o.

Welch keep your head up you were very few QLD players who had a decent dig.

JA I feel your pain!

Welch: Dominant Blues are "redefining" rugby league

100% agree Mexican

A Blues B-side could beat this Maroons outfit

It’s Origin football for you. There’s nothing in it. I loved it how QLD would rub it in to NSW when they won 8 in a row. Just the media looking to get views by adding Mitchell’s name to their headlines. Every NSW player except for Turbo rubbed it in last night.

Did Latrell go too far on Dane Gagai in this heated clash?

Chubby but made the most impact on the game last night with big moments when the game could of went either way.

Far from a boy as well but easy to say behind your computer…

Did Latrell go too far on Dane Gagai in this heated clash?

Sounds like they realised if they want to get back more bang for their buck they have to talk up their assets.

Walters' Broncos backflip as Lodge, Pangai look set to stay

Being first receiver and not finding your main attacking player in Munster when attacking the line was blasphemy. Running sideways and not straightening the attack all game. It took Ben Hunt to come on to get the ball to Munster. Everyone sees the game differently and that’s ok. My opinion is Munster is by far the best half in QLD and needs to have the ball in his hands, DCE running across field and probing and holding onto the ball only took time away from Munster. Time to blood someone else.

Six talking points from State of Origin Game 2

Time to drop DCE

Six talking points from State of Origin Game 2

Every year without doubt after winning one origin game NSW fall into the same trap.

Let’s see how QLD go in the middle with Papalii and Welch starting.

The Maroons are awful and the Blues are going to take the series 3-0

Turbo and Latrell are pure class. To’o had a blinder along with Cleary and Luai.
QLD need Papalii and Welch starting up front.

State of Origin 1 match result: Blues crush Maroons 50-6 in Origin 1 massacre

I guess we will see after after origin 1…

I’m sure if Radley was to play game 3 there wouldn’t you wouldn’t have the same issue?
