Its the cop out line for wimps (like Fionn) who are losers. They have never known the rules and lack spine. They could get a look-in in Canberra.

Yeah show some respect, Jacko, how dare you insult the national colours of this great nation state. If you don't issue a groveling apology Dutton's stazi will be bursting into your bedroom in the middle of the night to frogmarch you to the nearest detention centre. And what could possibly be wrong with suggesting referees have been biased in the past and they should fix it? I mean, people who are asserting this bias as fact wouldn't do so unless they had proof, right? Not just their own subjective impressions. And obviously such bias should be corrected. Any close decisions come up, the proper thought process for referees is obviously this. Hmm we've been accused of past bias, better go against NZ this time. Perfectly reasonable approach and a necessary correction to the historic pro AB bias of referees such as Garces

If you are referring to the national colours of the country that allows you to live within its borders, have some respect.

Yes, Jacko, that’s what I said. Unfortunately, your comment wasn’t arguing against that point. It started with you creating a straw man in which I said ‘all the 50-50 decisions’ went the All Blacks’ way. So, you misrepresented what I said. So I won’t bother engaging.

The Boks lost 5 our of 5 tests against the All Blacks as well as losing their first tests in history ever against Japan, Italy and Argentina when Garces was the ref - this stat makes a red card or two sound trivial, doesn't it? Especially as both were well deserved.

so the 50-50 decisions tended to go the All Blacks’ way. I think everyone knows this, so I’m not sure why it is proving so controversial ........................... They are your words Fionn ...And I say BS to that...Nothing more nothing less...

Although most will agree that the Boks closed the gap against the AB in recent tests, the Boks have not won a single test against the All Blacks when Garces was the referee (ZERO from FIVE). Garces is not a Bok favourite as he also officiated the first tests in history that Boks lost against Argentina, Italy and Japan. I think the Boks has reason to be worried!

Do you mean like the cleanout that hurt Brodie? Agree completely..Hopefully Garces rules to the laws not to his usual ignorance of them

Not that everyone's rude or anything - generally pretty good discussion on roar rugby - but you seem as measured and polite as anyone on here to me, Fionn, so it's a very mysterious comment to me too

This is gold. Whenever the ABs face a match they might lose the Kiwi fans lash out at anyone who dares to question their team. Or pretend a loss doesn’t matter (hello Fox). Go the Boks. Very smart move by their coach. A ‘disproportionate response’ is exactly what he wanted and it is exactly what he is getting.

Except you’ve made a straw man there, my good fellow.

Dont you know? He sends off 2 players per match if he doesnt like the team...Only 1 when he likes them....Also only incorrectly changes 1 series defining decision when he likes the team...Really weird ( NOT ) that he seems to get ABs games ever since they won back to back WCs...Cant have that can we...

Disproportionate response? 2 SA coaching staff come out and say that Refs need to stop favouring their first up opposition and you dont see that as controversial? I know what you would be saying if Hansen had said it......i have never seen a war of words between NZ and SA before a match and its only Hansen and Foster that has defused it and not bothered to fire back...

So you believe the ABs have all the 50-50 decisions go their way? And then you say "I think everyone knows this, so I’m not sure why it is proving so controversial" well the 50-50 thing all going the ABs way is 100-100 BS.....And I think everybody knows this so it wont be controversial...If you want to get into a peeing contest over which 50-50 decisions went either for or against the ABs Im happy to do that.....Name as many decisions that went in NZs favor as you like and I will counter with decisions that incorrectly went against the ABs.....

Perhaps ‘controversial’ would be a more apt term, but it does seem to have sparked what is perhaps a disproportionately defensive response from some.
