By The Roar / Editor

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika says England “had better win” if they’ve had the perfect preparation ahead of their quarter-final against Australia.

IMHO, England would be a better team without Jones, and Australia would be a better team without Cheika. There's little space for arrogance in modern rugby. And neither of these are likely to progress past this game. England appears to be 20 points ahead of Australia, but let's see what happens on the day.

He looked pretty calm to me. Jones has made a tactical error in the mind games And Cheika has taken advantage of that. Whether or not any of this has an impact is another matter.

Let the games begin.....more nonsense, stupid comments, finger pointing, false statements..... n playing the victim is a really good ploy.....with Cheika n Eddie at each other, we shall be entertained.

It’s always hard to watch him when he is in a petulant mode. It almost looked like he was annoyed Jones had said Eng had had good prep, or how much recent history was relevant, like that was an insult to the Aussies (ok, bringing up the last results is borderline insulting but only because they have been puss-poor). He reminds me a lot of Trump, he sees everything as a zero-sum game, your either for or against, no inbetweens, no middle ground, everything is either provocation or praise.

He is right. All the pressure and expectation is on England

Brilliant move, up until then nobody expected England to be favorites.
