Yeah Faf is that kinda bloke.. WC semi he went for Jake Ball and the crowd loved it.. Think Ball felt pretty embarrassed hence that take out.. It was definetely payback time.... Actually I was kinda impressed with Harry.. Had players cheering him in their jocks, a beer shoved into his hand and challenged to a down down but didn't bat an eyelid.. Years of training I guess.
I could see why Faf might rub people the wrong way, but no one should get hit like that. But, you gotta love Faf, anyone who can meet a member of royalty (maybe ex member now?) while standing there in your SA flag budgie smugglers and a cap... you gotta respect those balls.
This stems from bad blood between Faf and Jake Ball all the way from the Rugby WC semi final.. Ball saw Faf, Ball saw red mist.. It’s clearly especially in the context of what’s transpired this season over head contact an error by the match officials … That’s fine it happens, . But surely a citing and relook in order…under the new HCP guidelines, you don’t actually have to make head contact to be sanctioned.. Dangerous intention is sufficient.
